Ninth Wave Relocates to 40 Wall Street Supporting the Company’s Continued Growth

Ninth Wave 40 Wall Street

Ninth Wave is pleased to announce our move to a new office at 40 Wall Street in New York. Over the past eight years, our business and team have grown substantially. As we’ve added talent across engineering, product, client services, and operations, we outgrew our previous space. Our new office gives us room to accommodate a growing employee base, collaborate more effectively, and better serve the financial institutions that rely on us.

The move also reflects how much our work is expanding. Here are the areas driving that growth.

Supporting a growing ecosystem of connected applications

The number of third-party applications connecting to financial institutions continues to rise. Each new connection adds complexity and risk for institutions. Ninth Wave addresses this with a single bank connectivity layer that serves the entire open finance ecosystem, so institutions don’t need to build and maintain separate point-to-point integrations for each downstream relationship. As demand for secure data access grows, we are scaling our platform to support more applications, more connections, and more data.

Expanding our comprehensive set of services

We are committed to continually broadening the services we offer, making open finance easier and more trouble-free for our customers. Our goal is to take the burden of connectivity off financial institutions, allowing them to participate fully in open finance while focusing on their own customers and priorities.

Bringing AI to bank connectivity

AI is becoming central to how financial data flows, and Ninth Wave is building AI into both how institutions join the ecosystem and how they protect themselves within it.

In January, we introduced Compass, our AI-powered onboarding software. Compass simplifies and accelerates the integration of a financial institution into the open finance ecosystem, reducing the time and effort required to get connected.

Most recently, we introduced the Agentic Control Layer. As agentic banking becomes a reality, financial institutions face a growing wave of AI agents making API calls to access customer data. The Agentic Control Layer protects institutions from this surge by identifying and classifying AI activity, monitoring it and detecting anomalies, and governing and revoking access tokens as needed. It gives banks visibility and control over a category of traffic that traditional systems weren’t designed to handle.

Looking ahead

Our new home at 40 Wall Street marks another step in Ninth Wave’s continued growth. We thank our customers and partners for their support throughout our journey so far and look forward to continued growth in the value we offer and the client base we serve. Thank you for your support over these eight years.
